Growth of the consortium is being pursued in a judicious manner, focusing on the commitment of the individual along with the resources and expertise that person will bring to the group. The next goal of COSD is to bring more tangible services and value to all of our members. An example of this will be a National Employer Job Posting and Student Resume Database that will contain resumes voluntarily submitted by college students with disabilities from all over the country and concentrate them in one place for selection by private and public sector employers. For students with disabilities, this database will be a reliable source of job postings from companies and an easy way to connect with these companies who are committed to identifying and hiring qualified college graduates with disabilities. This will also enable companies to recruit interns for summer and semester-long positions.
